Cinderella

Lately my husband (Martin) and I have been struck again at how quickly life goes by and how precious each and every second is!

My eldest daughter; Jenna-may, is an absolute ball of funa and energy who loves nothing better than twirling and and spinning in the middle of the lounge.  We recently found this Steven Curtis Chapman song “Cinderella” which so encompasses how we had been feeling.

We’ve been trying to make a concerted effort to turn off the tv and laptop and spend more time just “being” together as family on ordinary days.  Not always the easiest thing to be doing after a busy day. So we’re not prefect but we’re more aware of it which has to count for something.

Each day I just pray for the patience to enjoy each moment through the chaos and frustration and treasure this time where they are changing so much every single day!

Have a listen to the below link and let me know what you think.

  1. Am thrilled that you hv made the decision to turn off the computer and tv and spend quality time with the kids. Not easy but they are little for such a short time so enjoy them, they also need your attention.

What do you think?
