Build Your Kingdom here

I love this song and love this band, they played at Soul Survivor Momentum this year and were awesome.  They’re so unique and different … it brings back memories of sitting out under the stars, chatting with beautiful friends whist listening to the sound of worship travels across the air.

I’ve been listening to this whilst writing my message for church this week and it just fits so well with what I’m focusing on!  Listen to the words…  “We are Your church, we pray revive this earth, build Your Kingdom here!”

Greatest day in history!

It’s Easter, it’s a holiday but more important is the reason behind it.  Jesus died; for you, for me and all humanity. He died with sin on His shoulders. Our sin. He suffered and bled in our place and He rose again. He left in His place the greatest companion, a comforter and friend.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the eggs, chocolate, chicks and bunnies.

I know it might not be your “thing” but even if it isn’t have listen to the song below. And if it is your thing take time to marvel at His greatness and mercy.

Happy Easter everyone! I hope it’s a good one full of love, family and chocolate!

Sun, smiles and snacks

Every now and again you one of those almost perfect days!! Sunday was one of those!

We started off at a social event at church with Magic Martin who kept the kids entertained whilst the oldies sat back with a cuppa and some yummy cakes. Which Tamsin slept through most of – my little angel!

Which was then followed by a picnic on the side of the Chess River in Croxley Green. Lovely friends, with lovely children, SUNSHINE, water, food and laughs! Seriously what more could you want!

The kids spent 99.9% of the time playing in the river with nets whilst the wrinklies lay back in the shade. With the occasional mad dash to rescue Carter who was wandering away following dogs!

BLISS!!! Why can’t every day be this good! Great idea Joneses!
